Happy St Andrew’s Day

Today is a holiday in Scotland. It’s also my late Nan’s birthday.

The history of St Andrew is complicated by various layers of stories, especially the biblical one, but N.C. postulates that St Andrew, the First Called, is actually a reflection of Andronicus I Comnenus (the name comes from Andros – Greek for man) and Jesus Christ. Both of whom were crucified.

He is also the patron saint of Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Malta amongst others. He is venerated in the Crimea too.

The Scottish flag is probably the most famous of all saltires or Cross of St.Andrew and it is so easy to see how this man could have travelled to the far north of the British Isles, especially when he was closely tied to the Varangian (the Nordic Guards of the Byzantine Royal family.)

Anyway – Happy Holidays Scotland :o)

Surrounded by CHARMERS

THE Charmer…

The Charmer was a 1987 British television serial set in the 1930s, and starring Nigel Havers as Ralph Ernest Gorse, a seducing conman, Rosemary Leach as Joan Plumleigh-Bruce, a smitten victim widow and Bernard Hepton as Donald Stimpson, Plumleigh-Bruce’s would-be beau, who vengefully pursues Gorse after he has conned her.

I remember watching the whole series. Very enlightening!

I KNOW a SNAKE when I come across one.

They are also called KARMICS.

Karmics come into our lives to teach a necessary but extremely CRUEL lesson.

You have to thank them for the warning that cobras ARE poisonous. And it’s quite daft to ever go near another one.

REJECTION IS GOD’S PROTECTION. Fact!

Ars Memoriae

I know this system best via Giordano Bruno (burned at the stake 1600) and Dame Frances Yates.

This is an ancient “art” with several methods of use.

My favourite is the method of loci or Architectural Memory.

It’s not so hard. We do it all the time – especially in a supermarket. Until they move stuff around the aisles and shelves. Harumph!

Today it’s not so well-known. Especially when we bring in melted buildings and mud flood and DEWS and Giant Elites with tiny servants and bedsits and tower blocks and ….!

I’d bet that most of the population only know anything about this via the TV series Sherlock.

Old World vs New World :o)

The Old Straight Track

The Old Straight Track is a book written long ago by Alfred Watkins. Ley lines etc.

I may be walking this energy line right now.

Well. When you pray for help……!

Same book as the last post and even more confirmation of my own research.

Heiros Gamas? Sacred Marriage? Jung’s Inner Civil War? Divine Masculine. Divine Feminine.

BTW – my research has lead me to believe/feel that John the Evangelist and John the Baptist were one and the same person.

In the shot below – the author is talking about Da Vinci and his painting The Last Supper.

Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.

This was the Queen’s reply to Alice telling her that one could not believe in impossible things.

A pretty good summary of my own journey into Hidden History.

Above is the opening of an article by Andreu Marfull Pujadas called The Parable of History and something I’ve read several times.

Why?

Because it has refused to make any sense.

My knowledge of Jews, Judaism is almost zero and that small part is thoroughly mainstream.

Yet, the other day, all started to make some semblance of sense when I connected it to two of history’s most famous Men-of-War.

Napoleon and Hitler.

Both of these figures had a knowledge of something Hidden that set them on their respective paths of destruction – destruction of themselves and of others.

And both of them were obsessed with Egypt.

P.S. I’m trying to debunk my own theory about the Black Madonna but even anti-sources are giving hard facts in support.

Heyho :o)

Starforts and Elsinore

For me, the most glorious prose ever written belongs to the Shakespeare play HAMLET.

I wrote about Kronborg Castle, Denmark way back in June 2019.

Kronborg Castle, Denmark was supposedly the model for Hamlet’s Elsinore.

Kronborg is a fecking beautiful Star Fort.

Will come back to it another time :o)

Researching In The Wee Quiet Hours

This past week and more I’ve gone back to how I was over 3 years ago and it is Wonderful :o)

To wake up in the wee quiet hours of 1 or 2 or 3am with an intense desire to answer some questions that my sleeping brain brought up used to be so normal for me.

A few days back I found a thesis about Baba Yaga and Black Madonna and I let it sit there in the little grey cells.

This IS syncretism in all it’s glory but that is NOT a bad thing.

Here we have the BLACK imposed on the Madonna for totally unknown reasons……or maybe not so unknown.

Like Lavinia, here is the woman, that oh so essential part of procreation, cast down into the deep dark.

She is witch, BogeyWoman, Bitch, Evil, Whore, Second Class, The Moon but never the Sun and all that jazz.

Himself and I watched a video this morning. One of the Handsome DeVils series and the woman who fell for the “handsome devil” was called Loretta.

OMG. If he said it once, he said it ten times…………

From now on, I want you all to call me Loretta. It’s my right as a man. I want to have babies.

You haven’t got a womb. Where is the foetus going to gestate? You gonna keep it in a box?

Syncretism & The Word ROMAIC

I have this crazy-mad theory about the Hidden History of the Black Madonnas that I’ve seen nowhere before and was feeling some doubts about.

Then, all of a sudden, the word SYNCRETISM was read and looked up and everything fell into place.

Syncretism :

  1. the amalgamation or attempted amalgamation of different religions, cultures, or schools of thought.”interfaith dialogue can easily slip into syncretism”
  2. 2.LINGUISTICSthe merging of different inflectional varieties of a word during the development of a language.

Of course. That is what has happened with this subject.

SO – It has to be stripped back to the very beginning.

Everywhere you go you will read about the Divine Feminine, the Jungian Psychology, the Dark Mother, the Pre-Christian/pagan, the racial symbolism, the Catholic Control, the great and titillating mystery of these religious icons. Millions of words, thousands of ideas, hundreds of books.

For me it needed just three words.

Syncretism.

Khem/Kemit.

Romaic.

It takes me back to the old argument about the colour of Cleopatra’s skin.

Was she a black African/Egyptian or was she truly Greek?

Think outside the box? What box? There IS NO BOX :oO

Why The DA VINCI Code?

There are many answers to this question but I’ll stick with the one.

Around 1994 Lynn Picknett and Clive Prince wrote a book together called Turin Shroud: In Whose Image? the Truth Behind the Centuries-Long Conspiracy of Silence.

Whilst I disagree with their conclusions, they made a revelation that is pertinent to today’s researching of AltHist. The subject?

Photography.

To quote Picknett and Prince :

On a side note and meaning nothing – Lynn Picknett has been a Facebook friend of mine for years. She has even answered some of my annoying questions :o)

I Am Black, But Comely

By no stretch of any imagination would I call myself a Biblical Scholar. But….

Ten books into researching the Black Madonna Phenomenon and I get shoved into the Bible.

OK. I’ll start there.

Song of Solomon : I am black, but comely, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.
[6] Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother’s children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.

Another quote, source withheld:

“She is, nevertheless, black because Wisdom (Sophia) is black, having existed in the darkness of Chaos before the creation. This is explained in a 3rd century tractate entitled On The Origin of the World. Sophia was considered to represent the Holy Spirit which, according to Genesis 1:1, ‘moved on the face of the waters’ and brought light to the world when ‘darkness was upon her face.’

The Alphabet Versus The Goddess

I bought and read this book when it was first published.

This groundbreaking book proposes that the rise of alphabetic literacy reconfigured the human brain and brought about profound changes in history, religion, and gender relations. Making remarkable connections across brain function, myth, and anthropology, Dr. Shlain shows why pre-literate cultures were principally informed by holistic, right-brain modes that venerated the Goddess, images, and feminine values. Writing drove cultures toward linear left-brain thinking and this shift upset the balance between men and women, initiating the decline of the feminine and ushering in patriarchal rule. Examining the cultures of the Israelites, Greeks, Christians, and Muslims, Shlain reinterprets ancient myths and parables in light of his theory. Provocative and inspiring, this book is a paradigm-shattering work that will transform your view of history and the mind.

Does every word and sentence sit well with me?

No!

But it’s a mind-expanding read :o)

Beyond Weird

I check into Christina every month or so. This is her latest video. I watched it today with mouth open wide.

What?

Was it yesterday that I wrote about the Black Madonna?

Early this morning I double-checked an idea I had that connected the Black Madonna/Black Virgin with the Cathars.

In March 2019 I started a series of articles on the Cathars.

THE HIDDEN HISTORY OF THE CATHARS – PART ONE

The Hidden History of the Cathars

By

Greta Brookes

This article is based partly on the New Chronology[1]and also my own extensive research into 17th Europe.

It will examine:

  • The “official histories” of the Cathars and the Albigensian Crusade of the 13th century,
  • What exactly was happening in Europe in the 17th
  • The connections between both of these eras and events.

The Cathars and the Albigensian Crusade.

We have been told that the Cathars (Cathari) were a Christian religious sect based mainly in the south of France during the 12th and 13th centuries and that their heretical practises were so offensive to the Church of Rome and all other good citizens of Europe that they had to be exterminated in a Christian Crusade. Their heresy was dualism. The belief that two principles lie at the root of everything – Good and Evil.

July 1209 – Arnaud Amalric: “Kill them all. God will know his own.”

The four main Cathar dioceses in Southern France were Agen, Albi, Carcassonne and Toulouse and the main castles were at Carcassonne, Montsegur, Queribus, Puylaurens, Roquefixade, Peyrepertuse, Termes and Puivert. This whole area of France is known as the Languedoc or Roussillon

Peyrepertuse

Roquefixade

If you don’t know about the Cathars and the Albigensian Crusades there are mega-tons of information out there but for a quick “official” starter there is WikiWhatever.

Main Cathar Strongholds in the Languedoc

Europe in the 17th Century

From the end of the 16th century and rolling deep into the 17th, the history of Europe is full of turmoil. The Reformation, Continent-wide Wars, Civil Wars, massacres, regicide, executions. For example:

  • St Bartholomew’s Day Massacre, Paris – 1572
  • Murder of Henri IV, King of France, Paris – 1610
  • The Time of Troubles, Russia and establishment of Romanov rule – 1613
  • Start of the Thirty Years War, Europe – 1618 or before
  • The Defenestration of Prague – 1618
  • Richelieu unites Catholic France with the Protestant Swedes thereby bringing France into the Thirty Years War – 1629
  • Henri II, Duc de Montmorency executed, France – 1632
  • The Wars of Three Kingdoms – England, Scotland, Ireland begins – 1639
  • The Fronde Civil Wars in France begin – 1648
  • King Charles I of England executed – 1649
  • Ottoman war against Hapsburg Hungary – 1663
  • Second Anglo-Dutch War – 1665
  • Russian-Turkish Wars begin -1676

The complete list is very long. Here is just a fraction of the timeline to show the general climate of Europe at this time.

What does any of this 17th Century stuff have to do with the Cathars?

If you are familiar with New Chronology (NC) you will know that, for the past 40 years plus, a team of Russian mathematicians have been doing in depth investigations into the hiding, editing and re-arranging of the history that we have all been taught.

I will explain no more about their work here other than to say that it consists of many thousands of pages and is worth investigating.

Okay. That said, NC research suggests that the annihilation of the Cathars did not take place in the 13th century as we have been told. It actually happened in the 17th century.

From a personal point of view, this makes sense. I have spent many years steeped in 17th century Europe in order to write a fictional account of the life and times of Marie de Rohan, and I may have completely rejected the NC version of Cathar history if not for Henri II, Duc de Montmorency, a close friend of Marie’s. I have put him in the timeline above for reasons that will become clear later.

What is the Hidden History of the Cathars?

It is interesting to note that “Cathar” is a name imposed by outsiders on this religious group. They only ever called themselves “Christians” or “Good Christians.” Bons chrétiens.

It is equally interesting to know that the Cathars of Northern France and elsewhere were called Bulgares. That is, Slavs from the Volga Region.

Locations of Cathars in Europe

As the map above shows, Cathars were not confined to the Languedoc in the South of France but they were spread across the continent of Europe and also Africa and America amongst many other lands. It is not inconceivable, therefore, that the true origins of the Bons chrétiens, is linked with the Horde/Great/Tartarian Empire (also known as Scythians) which expanded across most of the world during the 13th to 15th centuries. This can be amply illustrated by looking at their crosses and their flags.

Cathar Crosses

 Cathar Cross

Celtic Cross in Ireland

Christ with a Cathar Cross behind

It is not widely known but the Cathar flag consisted of equal width, repeating, vertical yellow and red stripes.

The inscriptions say – in Occtian

“Als Catar als martyrs del pur créstian”

“To the Cathars, to the martyrs of pure Christian love”

And in French –

“L’héritique n’est pas celui que brûle le bucher mais celui qui l’allume.”

“A heretic is not the one who burns at the stake but the one who lights it.”

And beneath the monument is a Cathar flag made of yellow and red flowers.

This symbol of the old religion is not just confined to the Languedoc or Roussillon, it’s other name.

Ancient Egyptians in the River Humber, Lincs/Yorkshire

I’ve just been watching WN & A and was reminded of work I’d done years ago.

Part 11 of The Hidden History of The British Isles

11) THE HIDDEN HISTORY OF THE BRITISH ISLES

Jacquelyn GreigThe Hidden History Project2 CommentsEdit”11) The Hidden History of the British Isles”

Messing about with Time

In 1937 two Yorkshire brothers found the remains of a very old ship in the mudflats on the north bank of the River Humber. The site was excavated by experts over the next year but then all work halted. World War Two had begun.

After the war, the brothers revisited their find and eventually, a decade later, the authorities agreed to carbon date their ship. The report came back. Egyptian galley c. 1400 B.C.

Fast forward to 1066 and 37 miles north of the final resting place of this Egyptian galley and there was a battle. The Battle of Stamford Bridge. It was here that King Harold II defeated an invading Viking horde just before sprinting south to Hastings and his fateful meeting with William the Bastard.

What connects these two events?

Ships.

And another question.

Why did it take the all-conquering, fierce and mighty Norse around 2400 years to figure out how to build their infamous long-ships?

Such is the foundation upon which lies the history of the British Isles.

Having already taken 1000 years out of the story by examining Brutus the Trojan and Brutus the Roman, I’m feeling the need to steal another millennium – give or take a couple of centuries.

Phantom Battlefields and Paper Twins

Disclaimer: The following is not my research; it belongs to NC. And this is what I tried so  hard to debunk/ignore/unread.

 1066 – Albion/Britain  1204 – Byzantine Constantinople
A great battle proved to be a major turning point in the history of the British Isles.A great battle proved to be a major turning point in the history of the Byzantine Empire.
1066 was the beginning of the invasion of Britain and the formation of the new Norman monarchy that continued until 1154.1204 was the beginning of the invasion of Constantinople and the formation of two new Empires. The Latin Empire and the Nicaean Empire.
Britain was invaded by a great fleet gathered from many countries.Constantinople was invaded by a great fleet gathered from many countries.
The Norman Dynasty lasted 88 years. The Latin Empire lasted 60 years.
The centre of power was London, the capital of Britain. The centre of power was Constantinople, the capital of the Byzantine Empire.
Harold II, legitimate heir and King of England died.Isaac II Angelos, legitimate heir and Emperor died.
Harold II ruled for less than a year.Isaac II Angelos ruled for less than a year.
Before Harold II, the King was Harold I Harefoot. He ruled from 1035 to 1040.Isaac II Angelos ruled twice. The first time was from 1185 – 1195.
The dead and conquered ruler is the second to bear that name – Harold II.The dead and conquered ruler is the second to bear that name – Isaac II Angelos.
The conqueror is the first to bear that name – William I.The conqueror is the first to bear that name – Theodore I Lascaris.
William I ruled for 21 years.Theodore I Laskaris ruled for 18 years.

Make of that what you will. But bear in mind that Britain was conquered because William I of Normandy was deprived of his right to inherit the throne after the death of Edward the Confessor.

Constantinople was conquered because Manuel Comnenus was exiled and denied the right to inherit the throne after the execution of his father Andronicus I.

Both battles were acts of vengeance.

Coincidence? Maybe. Or Paper Twins? A story repeated worldwide, just the names and dates and locations changed?

One story. One Empire. One Language.

From the 13th century Annals of Melrose Abbey, Scotland: “Now, for the first time the rumour appeared in our land that the godless horde of Tartari has ruined many countries.”

From the 13th century Chronica Sancti Edmundi: “The godless tribe which is called Tartarins, and which was rushed up from an Island, filled the whole surface of the earth, ruined Hungary and neighbouring areas.”

The late 13th/early 14th cc saw the huge expansion of the “Great Empire” outwards along all points of the compass. They fought, conquered, settled, built, learned and were taught. They transported all that they were and had into many lands. Including their language.

This is a complicated subject that I will expand on in the future but, for the time being…

There has been a long and varied study into the origins of language. (Not by linguists. They only appeared on the scene in the 18th/19th c.) It is becoming better known that the basis of all our languages is Slavic. It is also becoming better known that Latin is not actually ancient. Nor is English. Both (and many others including Ancient Greek) were created around the 17th century by ‘Reformers’ who were told that “the Empire must be forgotten forever.”

I could go on but – the Hidden History of the British Isles may, in fact, be the Hidden History of a vanished Empire. An Empire that has its roots in the 11th century. The same goes for your country too.

Ooops. There goes that last phantom millennium. Poof.

If any of the above is true, then, wherever we travel in our world – no matter the country, race, language, religion, colour – we should always be going home.

Going home to a warm welcome, good food and great company.

P.S. I didn’t want to see this but now that I can it explains a lot. The buildings, the technologies, the destruction, the confusion, the division, the recent unravelling of so many mysteries…the frantic to push towards another reset.

Of all the things that have been destroyed in the past, the one thing that has so far been indestructible is The Human Spirit. The Divine Spark. The Collective Consciousness. Whatever you want to call it.

That is our next big fight (?)

I’m feeling sad now :o(

Revisiting The Black Madonna

I have not touched on this subject since early 2019.

Black Madonnas

Many years ago whilst researching the early 15th century, I came across the Black Madonna phenomenon. It has always intrigued and I promised my self back then that, when the time was right, I’d investigate deeper.

Seeing differently now, learning so many new things, I think the time is very right.

Black Madonnas, whether picture or statues are found WORLDWIDE. Yet nobody knows how, where, when, why.

The image above is the Black Madonna of Russia.

This one above is in Dublin, Ireland.

This is from Poland.

They are all beautiful and they always depict the Virgin Mary and Christ child.

Let’s see where we end up going :o)

I’m still not 100% sure of the history of these many but rarely talked about icons. The links are numerous and often spurious. But I have the formation of article coming together.

Yay :o)

The F1RST Immaculate Conception

Isis and Osiris.

Long story short Set hated his brother Osiris. Cut him to pieces and threw them all over the place. Isis, the wife of Osiris, was pretty angry and upset so she searched for all parts of her lover, all over the place.

She found every part of him except one.

Then she had a child, Horus. Without ….urm….just without “that” part of her man.

End of story.

Sound familiar???

Carry On Dick!

Researching History Takes YEARS!

Researching AltHistory takes even longer.

Right at the beginning, I knew that I was in for the LONG journey.

ME, Jackie – 15th of June 2019 : COUNT FERENC NÁDASDY DE NÁDASD ET FOGARASFÖLD

In around 1571, the 16 year old Ferenc Nádasdy married the 12 year old Erzsébet Báthory, thereby uniting the two most powerful families in Hungary.

The Nádasdy family motto was –  “Si Deus Pro Nobis Quis Contro Nos”

(“If God is for us, who can be against us?”).

The Nádasdy arms are very interesting. They feature the Goose.

I have a reference (which I CAN’T find at the mo’) which links the symbol of the Goose with the Tartarian Empire.

Anyhoo, the whole point of this being…

The Nádasdy/Báthory connection points very strongly towards the fact that in the 16th century, Hungary, Poland, Roumania, Wallachia, Transylvania etc were all fighting for the survival of the Great Empire and against the Western European Reformers.

And as punishment these two families, along with the Drăculești, have become tainted with a bloody (cuss word) bloody (blood-soaked) reputation. (?)

BTW. Ferenc Nádasdy aka The Black Knight (!) was also “supposedly” fond of impaling!!

BTW again. Ferenc Nádasdy died in mysterious circumstances whilst away fighting…

Another self quote from the 31st of December 2018 : THE MANY HIDDEN MYSTERIES OF GRAND TATARIA.

Have you heard of Grand Tartaria?

Did they teach you about this immense Empire at school?

Do you know where it was?

I’ve known about Tartaria/Tartary for quite a while now but it stayed on the outskirts of my research until about 6 months ago. Then all of a sudden, everywhere I look, I’m finding mentions of this Empire. It is being deeply investigated right now by many amazing researchers, from multiple angles.

So – where do I come in?

SIDE NOTE:

For any of this information here to be understood, you HAVE to KNOW

****

Even then – in 2018 – I KNEW that Vlad and Elizabeth Bathory were a huge part of this HIDDEN HISTORY.

Yesterday I was researching the Cossacks. That most feared and remembered front-line of The Horde.

I found this….

7. REMARK ON THE WORD “COSSACK”.

Regarding the name GUZ = KAZ = KAZAK, let’s add the following. O. Suleimenov in his book “Az and I” drew attention to the fact that KAZAK = KAZ-AK, translated from Turkic, means “white goose” or “white swan” [823].

It has been beyond obvious to me that Vlad the Impaler aka Dracula and Elizabeth Bathory aka The Blood Countess were fundamental to the Hidden History of Tartary.

Their families were HIGH RANKING Hordians. Cossacks. Fighters. Loyalists.

And they have been destroyed by history.

THE WHITE GOOSE IS THE SMOKING GUN!

Orphan Trains & Resets

I have never subscribed to this strange idea that a cataclysm happened sometime in the 19th century and all but the children survived. Or that these kids were put on trains and sent to repopulate a “founded” city.

In my head, there is a much more prosaic reason.

Back in 2020 I was researching Victorian Asylums……POPULATION INCREASES IN THE 1800’s was just one post.

****

I’ve had a very disturbing thought that has been dogging my recent foray into Victorian research.

Put together the following :

The Massive Popularity of “Newly” built Mental Asylums.

The Victorian Baby-Farming Scandals.

The HUGE population explosion.

The amount of orphans available for adoption.

How many families got rid of their unwanted daughters by sending them away to some “Nuthouse.”

The Strict Moral Codes placed on the women at this time.

The predilection for men to seek company other than his lawful wedded wife to assuage his baser needs.

I’ve yet to find absolute proof that Mental Asylums of the 19th century were just glorified (and free of charge) brothels, but…!!!

Now – that IS a disgusting thought.

P.S. And (apart from the baby part) this applies to Male Mental Asylums too :o(

****

I also researched “baby farmers” like Amelia Dyer and The Most Obvious Connection is Unwanted Pregnancies. Caused either by lusty girls or by randy men.

In the strictures of middle/upper class Victorian Society, the husband and the wife were quite often totally incompatible. The husband had his “Club” and the wife had her “tea parties.”

There were many a fallen woman available for sex. And sex (shock & awe) creates BABIES. Lots of unwanted babies!

Fact : Our current Queen consort is the descendent of a bastard child of a married King and his mistress.

Simon Forman & Shakespeare

I posted the other day about Dr. Simon Forman, the Elizabethan astrologer, physician.

He’s somewhat connected with the much better known Dr John Dee.

These “physicians” were also astrologers and alchemists and occultists. They were seekers of knowledge beyond the earthly realm.

For better or for worse.

I, personally, believe that there was zero evil intent to any of them. They practised what we’d call, today, Natural Magic.

Shakespeare? Wow. A journey into the Bard is life-long. Through his works, as we know them today, we enter so much. Every human emotion, so many skills and trades, the occult, magic, the philosophy of a time before ours.

Dr Simon went to The Globe Theatre on April the 20th, 1610 to watch Macbeth.

The original of this cut and paste is here : Amanda Mabillard Going To a Play in Shakespeare’s London – Dr Simon Forman’s Diary.

In Macbeth at the Globe, 1610, the 20 of April, Saturday, there was to be observed, first, how Macbeth and Banquo, two noble men of Scotland, riding through a wood, there stood before them three women fairies or nymphs, and saluted Macbeth, saying three times unto him, “Hail, Macbeth, King of Codon; for thou shall be a King, but shall beget no kings,” etc. Then said Banquo, “what all to Macbeth, and nothing to me?” “Yes”, said the nymphs, “hail to thee, Banquo, thou shall beget kings, yet be no king”; and so they departed and came to the country of Scotland to Duncan, King of Scots and it was in the days of Edward the Confessor. And Duncan had them both kindly welcome, and made Macbeth forthwith Prince of Northumberland, and sent him home to his own castle, and appointed Macbeth to provide for him, for he would sup with him the next day at night, and did so.

And Macbeth contrived to kill Duncan and through the persuasion of his wife did that night murder the King in his own castle, being his guest; and there were many prodigies seen that night and the day before. And when Macbeth had murdered the king, the blood on his hands could not be washed off by any means, nor from his wives hands, which handed the bloody daggers in hiding them, which by means they became both much amazed and affronted. The murder being known, Duncan’s two sons fled, the one to England, the other to Wales, to save themselves. They being fled, they were supposed guilty of the murder of their father, which was nothing so.

Then was Macbeth crowned kings; and then he, for fear of Banquo, his old companion, that he should beget kings but be no king himself, he contrived the death of Banquo, and caused him to be murdered on his way as he rode. The next night, being at supper with his noble men whom he had to bid to a feast, to the which also Banquo should have come, he began to speak of noble Banquo, and to wish that he were there. And as he did thus, standing up to drink a carouse to him, the ghost of Banquo came and sat down in his chair behind him. And he, turning about to sit down again, saw the ghost of Banquo, which fronted him so, that he fell into a great passion of fear and fury, uttering many words about his murder, by which, when they hard that Banquo was murdered, they suspected Macbeth. Then MackDove fled to England to the kinges sonn, and soon they raised an army and cam to Scotland, and at Dunstonanse overthrue Macbeth. In the meantime, while MacDove was in England, Macbeth slew MackDove’s wife and children, and after in the battle MackDove slewe Macbeth. Observe also how Macbeth’s queen did rise in the night in her sleep, and walked and talked and confessed all, and the doctor noted her words.

Shakespeare’s plays abound with the “supernatural.”

Which Evil IS Evil?

6w5 : MY Enneagram Type

I’ve done a few psych tests in my time……work related!!!!

But way back in the early 2000’s I came across The Enneagram Institute and decided to try this one.

I NEVER lie or bluff or fluff on these things – my job once depended on absolute honesty.

This one impressed me so much that I then used it for my fictional characters.

Wow. It’s a very illuminating tool for a writer.

My personality type is a 6. With a 5 wing. Though time has passed and I FEEL more a 5 with a 6 wing.

These modern yt vids below will explain the basics.

Stonehenge : where Virgins LIE!

So many give so much away by the tone of their voice when they speak.

Long time ago a yt “truther” did something about Stonehenge in Wiltshire (used to be en route to my place of work) and he quoted the Where Virgins LIE sentence with such V enom & disgust in his voice that it could only come from somewhere deeply personal and painful.

Not long ago the same person brought up Stonehenge again and one of the comments stated – with UTMOST AUTHORITY – that Stonehenge was built in the 1950’s.

Wow. And thousands will now believe that.

Way back in 2021 I wrote : ROBERT NEWDYK : OWNER OF STONEHENGE

Not my first mention of this monument by a long way but, like all my work, if it doesn’t work for the them, it will be ignored. FACT!

As we are now in June and less than three weeks away from the Summer Solstice, my thoughts have turned to Stonehenge – a place I used to drive past twice a day and have visited several times. Though never on Midsummer’s Eve or Night. Cue Shakespeare?

Close :o)

Titania, Titania. Wherefore Art Thou, Titania (?)

We are in 1620.

Did you know that George Villiers, Duke of Buckingham, best mate of both James I Stuart and his son Charles I Stuart (and nemesis of one Walter Montagu!) offered an obscene amount of money to buy Stonehenge from it’s owner, Robert Newdyk?

Newdyk declined but “the King’s Favourite” still stomped all over the property doing archaeological digs and helping James to remove an altar stone that was subsequently taken to St James’ Palace, Westminster.

Strange but true ?

Funny how not a single one of them likes a single that is ACTUAL HISTORICAL RESEARCH.

Shake my Head.

A Shakespeare By Any Other Name…

This intrigues me.

I’m neither a fan nor an expert on Betty I Tudor but she certainly lived in interesting times.

My recent researches are all about the men around her. Giordano Bruno, Essex, Florio, Walsingham, Cecil, Dee, Rutland….Shakespeare.

What catches me most here is not so much the panegyrics around her as Goddess of the World but the connection made right at the beginning of the video with the rulers of Constantinople.

John II Comnenus had a younger brother called Isaac who married a woman called Kata/Irene. Kata/Irene was a daughter of Emperor David IV (The Builder) of Georgia.

Isaac and Irene had three children – Andronicus I Comnenus, John and Anna (?)

Andronicus married – and I have yet to find his REAL wife – and had three children, one of whom married the granddaughter of David of Georgia, Rusudan.

Rusudan’s older sister was Tamar, Empress of Georgia, who rescued her nephews, sister and maybe her brother in law from Constantinople after the crucifixion of Andronicus.

Ergo – The picture of Mother Mary and the Christ child with the rulers of Constantinople makes sense to me.

:o)

Dink. Lightbulb Switched On

I’ve just had an absurdly profound thought about Hidden and Twisted History.

Someone watched a video I’d posted ages ago about Vampires.

Sheesh. This has always been in my mind but only now has it made sense.

Vampires drink blood. I’ve written so much about Dracula and Elizabeth Bathory and Deviant Burials but….

THIS POST IS THE LINK.

26th of April 2019 : Wordless

From Nikitas Choniates, 12th century Byzantine writer:

Thus the wretched Andronicus was arrested, bound, and thrown into a boat together with the women…

He was confined in the so-called prison of Anemas with two heavy chains weighing down his proud neck, the iron collar used to fetter caged lions, and his feet were painfully shackled. Bound in this fashion he was paraded before Emperor Isaakios (Isaac II Angelos – his cousin)…

He was slapped in the face, kicked on the buttocks…his teeth pulled out…he was even battered by women who struck him in the mouth with their fists…

Afterwards his right hand was cut off by an axe, he was cast again into the same prison without food and drink, tended by no one.

…one of his eyes was gouged out, and seated upon a mangy camel, he was paraded through the agora.

…there was no evil which they did not inflict wickedly on Andronikus. Some struck him on the head with clubs…some using foul language reviled his mother and all their forebears. There were those who pierced his ribs with spits…pelted him with stones…

There was no one who did not inflict some injury on Andronikus.

To those who poured forth one after another and struck him, he turned and said no more than, ‘Lord have mercy,’

Removing the short tunic they assaulted his genitals. A certain ungodly man dipped his long sword into his entrails by way of the pharynx…

…raised their swords with both hands…they brought them down, making trial as to whose cut was deepest.

After so much suffering, Andronikus broke the thread of life, his right arm extended in agony and brought around to his mouth so that it seemed to many that he was sucking out the still warm blood dripping from the recent amputation.

From mysterioustimes.com  Jan 2019:

“On the Holy Shroud – the professor adds – I have counted 370 flagellate wounds, without taking into account the lateral ones, which the canvas does not offer because it only enveloped the anterior and posterior part of the body. But we can launch the hypothesis of about 600 hits. In addition, the three-dimensional reconstruction has allowed us to reconstruct that at the time of death, the man of the Sindone was bent to the right because the right shoulder was so severely dislocated that it had injured the nerves “

Give A Dog A Bad Name &….!

No offence to the content creator . I’m just stating my opinion.

Based on decades of alt.research.

Gilles de Rais is not quite as well known as Vlad the Impaler or Elizabeth Bathory but his “history” has so many similarities.

Except ONE.

The Marshal de Rais was (so they say) one of Jehanne d’Arc’s closest friends. Her general. There is not ONE SINGLE quote from The Maid of France denouncing Gilles.

Which begs a question or several.

Was she NOT the mystic virgin who’d been told by God and the Angels to save France?

Or was she actually a real peasant on the grift?

If all is as we are taught then Jehanne and her comrades on campaign would have been in very close proximity to each for long periods of time.

And she NEVER suspected that he was the Devil Incarnate and a child molester/killer?

BTW : The name Rais comes up in 17th century French History. It’s then RETZ and belongs to priests of the Catholic Church.

Just saying :o)

THE She-Wolf of France

No matter how beautiful she looked in Braveheart – Isabella of France has a very BAD reputation.

She finagled, lied, manipulated, defied, destroyed, betrayed and eventually murdered.

She hated Piers Gaveston and the Despensers (father and son) and got into such a hissy fit that she sailed home to Daddy. Daddy being the man who’d destroyed the Knights’ Templar.

According to MSM.

Daughter of Phillippe the Fair, Isabella married the son of Longshanks. Who may or may not have liked the pretty boys more than his wife. But, somehow, Isabella gave birth to Edward III of England.

But her son had her lover executed and his mother imprisoned for the rest of her life.

Bad, BAD BLOOD there.

It’s all making sense now :o)

And yes. I have Alison Weir’s book.

Whose Signature?

He’s the most famous writer in the history of History.

But he could hardly write.

I’m on the trail of the Phoenix and the Turtle. A clue into a deep mystery of history.

It’s the story of a woman (Phoenix) and a man (Turtle-Dove) who have a purely platonic relationship and both die in the flames to give birth to something everlasting.

And No. I don’t quite understand it yet but an illiterate usurer from Warwickshire did NOT write this.

In my humble opinion.

Another Puzzle Piece Placed : Michel de Montaigne

I have a 1991 paperback edition of Montaigne’s Essays – used for research into the mind of of the 16th/17th century person.

What this edition of mine completely lacks is any mention of the first translator of Montaigne into English and to whom he dedicated his works.

The translator was John Florio and he dedicated his work to two women…

Elizabeth Sidney Rutland and Penelope Devereux Rich.

:o)

Enter The Italians : Stage Right

I’m tracking packages today. All of them late.

A crockpot – much cheaper than £600 for 500 litres of oil.

Fabric that was meant to be here about 2 weeks ago and needed a Snot-o-Gram to get stuff moving.

And a Dame Frances Yates book.

About John Florio.

He’s the first Italian.

Spoiler : the second Italian is someone I’ve posted about many times before in the past 4 years. Giordano Bruno.

So happy to see EVERYTHING coming together to make a perfect picture.

BTW : Florio was NOT Shakespeare. In my Humble Opinion. But he was very connected to everything else about the Bard.

What a Co – Inky – Dink : Earl of Essex

I’ve been mired in genealogy again. Not quite as brain-destroying as Medieval Welsh families but close.

So many names and stories and histories that have crossed my path over the decades are converging in an investigation of just one man’s life.

Robert Devereux is fascinating. He’s also very connected to Sir Philip Sidney. And if you know your Tudor history – the name Sir Francis Walsingham will be quite familiar.

Sir FW’s daughter, Frances, married Philip Sidney and their only child was Elizabeth Sidney. See yesterday’s posts?

Shakespeare’s Muse of Fire (Phil) died aged around 31 and his wife then married Robert Devereux.

Robert was the brother of Penelope, who was the mother of Henry Rich —- who was the first extra-marital lover of Marie de Rohan and a close friend of George Villiers, Duke of Buckingham, who married Katherine Manners, who was the niece of Sir Roger Manners who married Elizabeth Sidney.

Get it?

SMH. It gets even worse from here. I haven’t even started on the Italians :o)

Wilton House, Wiltshire

We lived just over a handful of miles from Wilton House – twice.

I used to visit it. An amazing place. A visit now would make it even more amazing for me !

Why Wilton House?

Here’s where I first met Sir Philip Sidney.

The house was owned by the Earl of Pembroke – husband of Sidney’s sister, Mary.

I swear that it’s here (but my brain may be faulty!!!) that there is an astonishing portrait of Henri Quatre, King of France, husband of Marie de Medici and father of Louis XIII and Henriette Marie, right at the top of a staircase.

Now there’s a nice link :o)

P.S. At about 25 seconds into the video below you’ll see a bridge. I remember VIVIDLY standing there and watching the water flow underneath.

Phoenix : The Muse of Fire

I’ve long been a fan of Sir Philip Sidney. He pops up through many avenues along my decades of research without shame or warning!

Right now I’m trying to research his only child. She seems to’ve been forgotten/neglected/overlooked/rejected :o(

Because she killed herself with poison? Or because her father and her aunt (Mary Sidney) were too famous in their own lifetimes as well as now?

Poor lass. She needs a voice.

Dark Angel & Revisionist History

I’d been watching a “documentary” about Mary Ann Cotton and got very bored with all the salacious details. So I did a bit of my own research.

MAC is best known as Britain’s First Female Serial Killer. Juicy fodder, yes.

Then I recently found this TV drama series called Dark Angel. What made me sit up was the Distribution Company – Endemol Shine.

The same TV company that contacted me about making a TV Drama series from my book. All negotiations fell through when they learned that I owned ALL RIGHTS. I’d’ve cost them a bloody fortune in fees.

The beginning of this drama is so far away from any of the yt Real Crime docs about her.

She lost four children in four years – hence she was a murder. Go figure!

P.S. The women’s clothing is fascinating :o)

Coryat’s Crudities

Well, now. Who’d’ve thought that research done over 20 years ago would come back to me right now?

Historical Fiction writers are unashamed plagiarist’s. They (or maybe just me!!) love to use personal accounts of the time like letters, memoires, diaries and travelogues.

I’d used Coryat’s travel impressions several times. Along with his patterns of speech and vocabulary.

For some unknown reason he is embedded in this new line of research. Not only via his timeline, his journeys, his patron… but also his closest friends.

The Game’s Afoot as Henry V said long before Sherlock Holmes :o)

Bel-Voir vs Beaver

Getting up at 4am with chronic heartburn has it’s compensations.

Wow. I learned many things in the next 2 (quiet) hours.

This is so linked that it resembles a Gordian Knot.

I’ll explain more when I know more but for now…

A Savoyard History Blip

Don’t you love it when every route you take takes you back to where you’ve once been and sheds a little more light?

I do.

Recent posts here have talked about The Rusalka – Slavic mermaids, Vladimir Propp, my novel, N.C. etc etc.

On December the 31st 2019 I wrote this : The Many Hidden Mysteries of Tartaria.

A part of which contained –

Well, right now, all I have is many, many questions and many many subjects that I’m linking together. And all that I can give you, at this moment in time is a list of my mixed up knowledge and the way it is slowly (but ever so brightly) linking together.

Not a lot of this will make sense right now. These are just clues. Signposts.

But, PLEASE bear with me over the coming months as I gather in more information.

Right. Let’s take a look at the first Very Rough Guide to  —

The Greta Brookes, Hidden History Project, Guide to Grand Tartaria.

****

To this day I am still linking stuff together.

We’ll start with a Weave a Garland of My Vows basic research fact. The marriages of the children of Henri IV Bourbon and Marie de Medici.

Louis XIII married the Spanish Anne of Austria, sister of Felipe IV of Spain.

Elizabeth married Felipe IV of Spain , brother of Anne of Austria.

Gaston married the Montpensier – richest woman in France

Henriette Marie married Charles I Stuart of England

Christine married Victor Amadeus I – DUC OF SAVOY.

Savoy is familiar to all as the resting place of the Turin Shroud. Which (according to New Chronology) could have originated in Constantinople and was rescued by the original owners who took it north during the Sack of Constantinople in 1204.

The image above is of a 17th century Savoyard suit of armour housed in the Royal Palace in Turin.

Another picture of the same armour :

Victor Amadeus I and his Savoyard troops took part in the 30 Years War, in Eastern Europe.

So why were his troops wearing armour not only decorated with the Slavic/Eastern European amulet of the Mermaid/Ruskala but also the Crescent Moon of the Ottoman?

We’ve been taught that the 30 Years War was a fight between Western European Catholics and Protestants.

:o)

The Demolition of New York’s “Tartaria” Buildings

I’ve known this for a long time but kept quiet. Waiting for someone else to work it out.

Oh. Well.

The architect, the millionaire and the showgirl.

Stanford White is a name known by the TartariaGang on yt. He’s the man who designed many of the Gilded Era Mansions in America and is an easy go to for those who poo-poo his credentials as architect and big-up the “fact” (BARF) that these mansions were ancient , antiquitech structures built by a previous civilisation and destroyed to hid the “truth” (BARF.)

The real story is much more prosaic. It’s all about a man who had a penchant for very young girls and lots of sordid skulduggery in the bedroom.

Not a single one of these three come out of this well.

Oh. And btw – it was plastered all over the newspapers at the time, has many court documents/prison records to corroborate the happenings and two of the actors in the whole dirty mess wrote books about it.

Hence the destruction of a few iconic New York buildings.

Vladimir Propp

I bought this book decades ago. A 1975 secondhand version for about a £1.

It’s served me well :o)

A first reading when right over my head, even though I knew about Grave’s White Goddess and Campbell’s The Hero’s Journey.

It’s worth all the brain-ache …in my humble opinion. Especially if you are a writer studying your art and your craft.

Ichthys and Melusine

In my crazy head these two make perfect sense.

Ichthys (the fish) is the sign of Jesus. Melusine is half female half fish.

This legend is so old. It connects with Lorraine in France.

Lorraine connects with a virgin…Jehanne.

Jehanne connects with Rene d’Anjou.

Rene connects with Nicolas Flamel.

I could go on forever but NC connects Melusine/Sirens/Kelpies/Rusalka/The Little Mermaid with Mary – Mother of Christ.

Half woman/half ichthys (?)

If y’all actually believe in humans who live under the sea then…God help y’all.

This video is not as effed up as I want it to be.

Egypt IS important here. So are the Romany/Romani/Romean as seen in the earlier post.

But wtf do I know?

I’m just a hoosewife :o)

P.S. The image above is deliberate. Finding Nemo.

NEMO means either Nobody OR The Man.

Chew on that one !

Rusalka

I had no idea just how deep this went. Until yesterday.

The Rusalk(a)i. Mermaids. Myth and Folk-lore. A MASSIVE horizon of connections that spans the whole world.

It’s the Divine Feminine being manipulated via FAKE history. It’s also the Virgin Mother.

I’ll start with a cartoon and end with N.C. And Vladimir Propp/Maria Tatar. Sometime soon :o)

Think Siren, Mermaid, Selkie, Baba Yaga, Mother Earth….SNAKE!

Nichola de la Haie

She’s a bit of a hero of mine. A local girl.

Sherriff of Nottingham? Nah. Nichola was Sherriff of the WHOLE OF LINCOLNSHIRE.

I’ve see the Magna Carta here. And walked the battlements trying to envisage just how Nichola defended her castle from the enemy.

Quite easily actually. The view is awesome. On a clear day we can see Lincoln Cathedral from here – 21 miles away. And the castle is just opposite the Cathedral.

Note to Self : Build your Castle/Home up on high ! ? !

Thank you, Neil :o)

A REAL Person. An AMAZING Person

I’m in contact with one of my favourite authors right now.

I sent an email and got a beautiful response the next day.

To me, this is how REAL people communicate.

No bans. No humiliations. No silent punishment for crimes supposedly done.

A true and equal sharing of views.

yt has a lot to learn.

BTW : I’ve just earned myself 2 more bans from “troother” channels.

YAY :o)

The subject of our ongoing connection?

C.S. Lewis.

And by default – Tolkien and the other Inklings.

Meanwhile, back in LalaLand – the moon and fake news are still the topic of the hour.

BTW : In the video above, he mentions G.K. Chesterton. Whom I know from the Father Brown Mysteries. But G.K. also wrote about Eugenics and Other Evils. This amazon blurb is quite poignant, yes?

Written in the beginning of the 20th century, before the WW I, when this theme was the “topic of the hour”, eugenics is the study of methods of improving genetic qualities by selective breeding. Exerpts: “The wisest thing in the world is to cry out before you are hurt. It is no good to cry out after you are hurt; especially after you are mortally hurt. People talk about the impatience of the populace; but sound historians know that most tyrannies have been possible because men moved too late. It is often essential to resist a tyranny before it exists. It is no answer to say, with a distant optimism, that the scheme is only in the air. A blow from a hatchet can only be parried while it is in the air.” “The point here is that a new school believes Eugenics against Ethics. And it is proved by one familiar fact: that the heroisms of history are actually the crimes of Eugenics. The Eugenists’ books and articles are full of suggestions that non-eugenic unions should and may come to be regarded as we regard sins; that we should really feel that marrying an invalid is a kind of cruelty to children. But history is full of the praises of people who have held sacred such ties to invalids.” “A silent anarchy is eating out our society.” “Now this is the first weakness in the case of the Eugenists: that they cannot define who is to control whom; they cannot say by what authority they do these things.”

****

I’ve been invalided by eu-genics-tube :o)

My copy of this book is falling apart at the seams.
