I, personally, hate the taste of kale. So I always use cabbage. Either Savoy or Sweetheart or plain old white cabbage.

The bacon is unsmoked and olive oil rather than butter, milk rather than cream.

The main is chicken breasts with a blob of Red Leicester Cheese on top wrapped in the remaining bacon

All of us prefer the autumn/winter foods. So filling. So simple. So belly warming :o)
