OMG…BFF and I, aged 17, blagged our way into this place to watch a live band. Can’t even remember who the band was. I was so traumatised by being party to a criminal act.

But, my God, it felt great at the time.

Apart from my husband, all my fellow life perps have been women.

One soldier, our neighbour at a secret army base in Hampshire (Longmoor) even banned his wife from having anything to do with me. Absolute True Truth!!! They used to call me Militant Millie.

So – I’ve been famous in my own Tea-Time.
