What’s even better is that each county has it’s own brand of insults. Here in Lincolnshire we use “pig shit ignorant” a lot.
Weirdo is a fave of mine. So much so that my boys see it as a Term of Endearment. Which it is :o)
Sit round our kitchen table and listen to the insults fly. Y’d think we loathed each other.
Eldest son always ends a spousal argument with – It’s not my bloody fault you married a wrong’un.
Which always makes us both agree with him and then laugh out loud and totally forget what we were arguing about.
