They NEVER let me down.

I was out this morning gathering fallen twigs and branches from our garden for kindling because we have gone back to ice, snow and minus temperatures.

And there, in between the trees, along the paths, peaking out of the snow are my own personal time-keepers…SNOWDROPS.

Nothing stops them. NOTHING.

They are still in the green but soon they will blossom and then give way to our bluebells and primroses and then it’s Springtime with Magnolia blooms and May Blossom and Lilac and summer just round the corner.

I LOVE snowdrops. So mild. So unshowy. So reliable.

Thank you, Flowers and Plants and Trees.

Thank you :o)

P.S. My sister-in-law planted snowdrops at my mother’s grave for exactly this reason.
