Muted Yay. We Got Oil :o)

Rayburn burning. Water Heating.

Kitchen still cold as F!

An Aga/Rayburn will take several hours to heat up. It’s made of cast iron and ours hasn’t been used for almost a year.

But I’ve cooked some croissants already – urm – the kitchen still smells overwhelmingly of kerosene. And my fingers are a pale blue now.

Patience is a Virtue but I’m a Sagi in Sagi season and patience has run a wee bit thin.

Not quite an island in the sun and my olive oil is still an oil-cicle.

But progress is made.
