I love, adore and swoon over the smell of apple wood when burned. It’s unmistakable and also makes for a long lasting heat.
No wonder we Brits are so bad at barbecues. A little bag of charcoal from the local garage and a mass of hungry peeps all waiting for it to start raining.
BBQ takes time and love and scented WOOD.
