OK. Fact coming….

Average – 6 stitches per inch. Accomplished – 8 stitches per inch. Expert – 10 stitches per inch. Professional – 12 stitches per inch.

Woohoo. Whilst not professional, I’ve upgraded to expert.

10 stitches per inch. Not three bad.

Yes. The 1840’s dress is ORANGE. How Masonic is that? Or not.

This is my “toile” but it may not be.

With around 200 separate pieces (OK. 50 odd) it’s going to be a labour of love.

Imagine this….(stop laughing and just imagine) – In a month or so I could be swanning around my house like a Hollywood reject in a hand-made, hand-sewn Historically Accurate early 19th century gown. With slippers, messy hair and an attitude.

I may even do a dramatic Sarah Bernhardt faint for the crowd :o)

P.S. It’a already taken from 8am til now – 3pm- to get the back bodice fabric and back bodice lining this far.
