OK. I did Anchor Plates a while back and nobody got the hint!

AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH,  DID YOU KNOW?

ANCHOR PLATES

Wednesday, 18 August 2021, 16:16

There are so many ancient or just old buildings in the UK that have Anchor Plates.

This county (Lincolnshire) is rife with them.

And even I (a stupid housewife) know that these are the outside decorative cast iron plates that hold cast iron bars/ties in place.

Old buildings move and sometimes they have to be “tied” wall to wall via rebar.

Cast Iron is the STRONGEST of strong. It can survive most things.

My Rayburn is cast iron. 24/7 heat and it will NEVER melt.

Oh. yt is throwing out crap videos again.

Let’s go MODERN with Phil.

YeahYeah, he’s a media person but he trained as a surveyor and has many years of buildings experience.

Mmmn, Phil. So WHAT EXACTLY CAUSES SUBSIDENCE?

Is it Mudflood?

SMH in total anguish when people take just ONE answer and tell the entire world that THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED…Fact!

Would Anchor Plates stop a flood of mud? Seriously?
