LAY ON, MacDuff

OMG. Even this quote’s real meaning has escaped me until now.

I’m back home. In the land of my father. Never really left it as seen below in a post from 2019.

“Most Sacrilegious Murder…” said by MacDuff

I’ve always been more of a Baconian than an Oxfordian. Then they threw in Mary Sidney and the whole ‘Who wrote Shakespeare?’ argument started again. I’m soooo over that now. All I know is – whoever wrote the plays was a Genius. With a capital Gee!

I especially love Macbeth…..The Scottish Play.

NC have done some brilliant analyses of Shakespeare’s work and it came as no surprise to me to find out that Macbeth is His story.

Yup. How about this…..?

Macbeth is Herod is Alexios III Angelos

Lady Macbeth is Herodias is Euphrosyne Doukaina Kamatera

Duncan and Banquo are John the Baptist are John Comnenus

MacDuff is Christ is Andronicus I Comnenus

The Three Witches are the Three Magi

Dunsinane is Jerusalem is Tsar-Grad is Rome is Constantinople.

I will break it all down later.

Mind-blown right now!!

“Angels are bright still, though the brightest fell.
Though all things foul would wear the brows of grace,
Yet Grace must still look so.”

MacDuff. Such an important name in Scottish history.

Kings of Scotland can only become truly a KING when they are crowned by a MacDuff……Lay on, MacDuff.

FFlipsSake. I can be really slow sometimes :o(

First Isabella MacDuff who crowned Robert the Bruce and was then caged on an outside castle wall. Then…….?

P.S. I can EMBIGGEN myself with the best of them…. ‘S Rioghal mo dhream is the motto of my family. It means Royal Is My Race…fact.

YadaYada MSHist
