I have this book and also several biographies/picture books of Lulu.
When I had my shop I bought (and still own) a mannikin that I’d dress every other day in Vintage clothes. She had a Lulu wig and was called…..?
She became quite famous in town with the old blokes. They’d tell me stories of how they’d been out on the town with her the night before.
LOL but absolutely true. Bless ’em.
She was a one-off who formed my pen-name surname with an added E (still on the Top10 most hated list)
