Sunset Boulevard

I told you that I’m a fan of Billy Wilder films.

Sunset Boulevard was always in my Top 10 favourite films…but, it’s now jumped to the Top 5.

I adore Gloria Swanson and the balls she showed throughout her Unholywood career. In this film she was PERFECTLY cast to play the absolute opposite (well, maybe not absolute) of her real life career.

I adore the way Wilder used the very beginning of the film to frame and emphasise every scene up until the end.

I adore Cecil.B.De Mented.
