Yup. I’ve done that many a time, in many a place.
I did it earlier today after a truly disgusting phone call from a car mechanic who (basically) called me a liar and then threatened blackmail. As in – If you don’t do xyz….I will do zyx.
My last words to him were…I’ll walk down from the village and pick the car up myself.
OMG. It usually takes about 25 minutes to hoof it from here to his garage by foot. I think I beat Roger Bannister’s 4 mile :o)
