If the video below is RIGHT then he was a distant ancestor, my paternal grandmother being a MacDonald.
And this is why I am CERTAIN that my own DNA test was not fixed or manipulated or used for nefarious means. Unless someone had the time to sit down and trawl MY ENTIRE FAMILY TREE. Which is hardly likely, methinks.
Unfortunately Mr Ghodraidh Chrobhain died before the timeline of my HistFic novel. But his spirit lived on :o)
